Can you merge information for sending personalized emails?
Statistics show that if you can use personally identifiable information in the body of your emails (first name, company name, last product purchased, etc), response rates dramatically increase.

With the application you can easily create, store and use custom fields associated with each contact on your list and then use merge tags that will automatically personalize each email based on your contact's data.

Let's show you an example below. Let's say this is the intro copy of my email promotion:




By storing the following custom fields for each contact on my mailing list, you can have the application do the work of replacing the following tags with data unique to each recipient. My email might look like this when I set it up inside of the application:



By creating custom fields, the application automatically will provide you with merge tags (those things with percentage signs around them) that you can insert where you like. When your campaign sends, it will automatically replace those tags with the correct information.

To start, create custom fields to hold the data you want to use to personalize. If you're importing a new list, make sure you include those fields as a separate column to store each unique piece of data. Then when you are creating your email, use the Custom Fields button in the editor to choose which tags to merge.
