| What does Send Test mean? (aka test mode) |
|
The application allows you to send out test emails as part of your pre-mailing workflow, called Test Mode. A standard best practice is to send a test version of the email before a live deployment to your final list. This can be sent to just yourself or a small internal group for review. When choosing "Send Test", the application will automatically prefix your emails subject line with T1, T2, T3, etc. For instance, if my subject is: This month's newsletter contains hints and tips for gardeners. In test mode, it would appear to your test group as: T1: This month's newsletter contains hints and tips for gardeners. If you test again, it will prefix with T2 and so on, depending on how many test emails you deliver. When you are ready to send, select Send Final in the Actions hover. |
