How do I add an unsubscribe link to my email?
All emails sent through the application require a one-click unsubscribe link. This allows your recipients to easily opt-out and it will automatically change their status in your mailing list to unsubscribe, ensuring your lists stay clean and CAN-SPAM compliant.

Creating a system standard unsubscribe link (using the editor)

    * While creating or editing your email inside the email editor, place your cursor where you would like your unsubscribe link to go (in the footer for example).

    * Choosing Custom Fields in the editor toolbar and then General Custom Fields and then Unsubscribe Link.

It will insert the following link automatically for you and will be a working unsubscribe link when you deliver your campaign.

Creating a custom unsubscribe message (using the editor)

If you wish to customize your own message and unsubscribe link to say something like: "To remove yourself from future mailings, click here", you would do the following:

    * Start by typing in your text.

    * Highlight the words click here. Then choose Insert Link and then Predefined Link choose Unsubscribe Link. This will turn your text into a unsubscribe link.

Create a custom unsubscribe link (in an outside program)

If you are using an outside program like Dreamweaver to create your HTML email, you'd simply use a merge tag. You can find this inside the system by viewing the Merge Tag cheat sheet in the 'Create An Email Campaign' screen.

Note that if a user unsubscribes accidentally, they are given the option to resubscribe on the same page with a single click. This is standard and requires no coding.
