Templates are reusable HTML emails (newsletters, promos, etc.), that you can use each time you send the same type of email out. Think of it as a frame for your email 'picture'. You can have several types of templates in your account depending on what the focus is for what you're sending out. Still not clear? Here's an example: Say you have a monthly newsletter and your graphic designers have created and coded it to work as an HTML newsletter. Chances are the structure will stay the same with perhaps just content and image changes. In that case, it's more efficient to use that same frame every time you send out instead of recreating every time. Simply choose your template each time you are ready to send a newsletter, and just add any updated content you desire. The application can be utilized to design a custom template for your or help your current designers if our wide array of internal templates aren't working for you. |
