In the application, you can add a Facebook 'Like'
icon, enabling the end user to share that email content on their
Facebook user wall.
1. Add like button to your email
- Go to Content > Emails. Either create a new email campaign or edit an existing one.
- In the WYSIWYG editor, place the cursor where you'd like the button and then click Custom Fields.
- In the window that appears, click the Facebook Like Button (email) link. This will drop a tag into your email.
- Save the email. When you deploy, the 'Like' icon will appear in your email and will look like this:

2. Create the Facebook 'Like' message that appears on the users wall (i.e. John likes The Acme monthly newsletter).
- The title tag of your HTML email is what will appear on the wall, with a link to that email (i.e. The Acme monthly newsletter)
- The title tag is viewable inside the Edit HTML window when editing
your email content. It would look like <title>The Acme monthly
newsletter!</title>.
A few things to note:
- If the user is signed into Facebook, they can click 'Like'
and this action will be reflected on their Facebook Wall. If the user
is not signed in, they will be prompted to sign into Facebook and then,
the action will be transferred to their Wall.
- As people continue to 'Like' the email, their images will appear in this box and the number of 'Likes' will increase accordingly.
