How does the system track opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes?
The application tracks several response metrics in emails, but with any marketing tool, the results can be open to interpretation depending on what is most important to the user. Here's an overview:

Opens


- The open rate is calculated by unique opens divided by list send size.
- Unique opens are unique users opening up that email, while total opens are the total amount of times an email has been opened up.
- Average opens is unique opens divided by list send size.

Clicks

- Click-through Rate (CTR) is unique clicks divided by list send size.
- Unique clicks are unique users clicking a link within an email, while total clicks are the total amount of clicks within an email.
- Individual links are the total amount of unique links within an email that have been clicked.
- Average clicks are unique clicks divided by list send size.

Bounces

- Bounce rate is calculated by the number of hard/soft bounces divided by list send size.

Unsubscribes

- Unsubscribe rate is calculated by the number of unsubscribes divided by list send size.
- Total unsubscribes are the total amount of users that have unsubscribed from the account.

Complaints


- Complaint rate is calculated by the number of spam complaints divided by list send size.
- Total spam complaints are the total amount of users that have unsubscribed from the account.

Share Rate

- Share rate is the total amount of shares divided by the list send size.
- Total shares, email forwards, etc. are the total amount of times that action has been taken with the email.
