GMX applies seven sophisticated anti-spam modules
which work hand-in-hand to provide a nearly leak-proof spam barrier. No
configurations are needed. The modules Header Analyzer, Spam Server
Blocker, GMX Anti-Spam List and Global Anti-Spam List automatically do
their job. Moreover, you get your personal Black- and Whitelist so you
can adapt your Spam Protection to suit your personal needs.
One
anti-spam module, the "Text Pattern Profiler", is especially optimized
to analyze e-mails sorted into your spam folder. Over time, it learns
to successfully identify unwanted e-mails and to divert them
accordingly. The Header Analyzer examines the header of each incoming
e-mail for errors commonly made by spammers while the Spamserver Blocker
module blocks e-mails with sender addresses of large e-mail providers
that were not routed via one of the provider's mail servers.
