How to post a web version of your email to your website the correct way.
A popular way for marketers to further utilize the reach and impact of emails is to post the HTML version on their websites, leveraging the content for SEO purposes.

However, posting the exact code from a live email's web version can cause issues. The main problem is that the links in that web version (unsubscribe, modify details, etc) are live, meaning that if someone clicks those links on that web version, the user's email the web version was posted from will be then unsubscribed.

There are two easy ways around this:

- When posting the HTML of the email's web version, simply look at any merge tags (%%unsubscribe%% for example) and make that link a ### instead, creating a dead link that will do nothing when clicked.

- You can also use the Social Sharing version of the email as well, which also will not allow specific user actions to be taken.
