| What's the RSS icon under Contact Lists used for? |
|
With every email that is sent to a list, a version is
created for an RSS feed. Every list has an RSS feed, regardless of
whether an email has been sent or not. This is great for repurposing
email content on a website and leveraging it for search engines. To see your RSS feed: - Go to the left-hand navigation and click Lists under Subscribers. - You'll see the column that says Archive. Under that, you'll see an orange box for each list that says RSS. Click the box and you'll get to your RSS feed. By clicking each post in that feed, you’ll see a web version of any email that has been sent out to that list. A few notes: - Several of the system generated tags - unsubscribes, modify details, social share - are not active links. - If you don't want an email to display in the RSS feed. simply go to your email campaigns and you’ll see two green checkmarks. If you click the 2nd one, that removes the email from your archive. The first checkbox disables the campaign so it cannot be sent. |
