| Sending out autoresponder emails for signups via upload, single entry |
|
The application supports sending of autoresponders in several different ways. Here are several options: - When a single user is added to a list. - When a full list is uploaded. After you set up your autoresponder and make it active, you can add a single user to that list and the autoresponder will fire in whatever manner you set up (immediate, hours later, days later, etc). You can also upload a list and have the autoresponder fire off to those people as well. When you select your list to upload, you'll see a checkbox that says 'Yes, add these contacts to autoresponders'. By doing that, it will prep those users to be sent with whatever criteria is established in the autoresponder associated with that list. ![]() The system also supports custom autoresponders that are triggered by specific custom fields. For example, if you have a custom field called "Gender" and an autoresponder set up to send out a specific email to a male contact, when the contact fills in their details in the subscription form and selects 'Male' from the "Gender" option, they will receive that corresponding autoresponder that you set up. You can then create different autoresponders for females and so forth. |
