If you are a self-service customer and purchase credits to send emails, you simply pre-pay for "email credits" that are deducted from your account as you deploy through the system. It's a one-for-one system, so if you send out 1000 emails, 1000 credits are deducted.

There are no monthly fees when you are setup this way and you only buy email credits when you need them. Credits "roll over" and they never expire.

see your pricing options, click on My Account or the Buy More link at the top right inside your account. The more credits you pre-buy, the less expensive the credits become.
